Craigmore Cottages – ‘the best location for exploring Mull’.

Craigmore Cottages comprise one detached and two semi-detached traditionally styled, clean, comfortable, cosy cottages at affordable rents. Centrally situated in a private position on the B8035, a mile from Salen and close to all main routes, visitors staying here save time and money when exploring Mull. And when ‘at home’ can enjoy views of stepped lava hillsides or relax in their sheltered south facing garden, perhaps encountering wildlife visitors from the forest, or watch eagles, hen harriers, and buzzards fly overhead. Guests can stroll in Craigmore’s fields opposite, with views of Loch na Keal and Beinn a Ghraig.

 

For adult couples only, Craigmore Cottage (wheelchair friendly) sleeps two people in one double bedded room. Craigmore Beag sleeps two or four in one double bedded and one twin bedded room. Craigmore Mhor, the owner’s home during early spring and late autumn, is currently not let.

Guests arrive to spotlessly clean accommodation with beds made up, towels, tea towels and other extras provided, plus a ‘welcome’ bottle of French wine and gifts of three popular guidebooks - ‘About Mull’, ‘Mull in the Making’, and ‘Discover Scotland’s Wildlife’, written by author Rosalind Jones and given because she and Nick want their guests to enjoy discovering Mull’s many delights.

 

Each cottage has maps, books, and DVD’s provided for guest’s enjoyment.

Mull is a magical, beautiful, majestic island with so much to offer visitors. One week is not enough to do and see everything but it will give you a very good introduction - for in Mull, there is a saying that holds true – ‘If you come to Mull the once, you’ll return again for sure.’
