Mull Craft and
Walking Breaks
Short Holidays in
Mull – with the opportunity to learn Stick making and other crafts – and
to see around the beautiful Isle of Mull with a local guide.
Walking tours in the hills, around the coast and visits to places of
historic interest.

Have the chance to
make your own Shepherd’s crook or other craft items with the expert
tuition of Charlie Hogg – who will also act as your guide throughout
your stay on the island. When not in the workshop, Charlie will
take you to various places across the island – and point out the
abundant wildlife a nd
tell you about the incredible history of Mull and its people.
Charlie is a native
of Mull – a Muileach who has over 25 years of experience making
Shepherd’s crooks and walking sticks. Taught by the late champion
crook maker Allister Campbell of Tarbert and Mull, Charlie is now one of
the tuto rs at
the very successful Mull crook making club. Having grown up on
Mull, Charlie has a great love for the island and has had a lifelong
interest in its unique fauna and flora.
Courses will be for
either 3 days or 6 days – or can be customised to suit you.
